Because nothing says, “it’s winter,” quite like soup, Havruta’s English Speakers group got together to enjoy our very own soup festival. We had six different types of soup (including French Onion, Sweet Potato, Creamy Vegetable, and African Peanut) and lots of fun breads and toppings. Thanks to one of our members for baking a beautiful rainbow birthday cake to celebrate December birthdays. We’re excited that this was one of our most well attended events ever: over 20 people came! While it’s true that everybody loves soup, what’s most important is that even during these difficult times, getting together and supporting each other is one of the most important things we can do. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next event in January. Wishing everyone a healthy and peaceful winter ahead.
