אחרי קיץ הכולל שני מצעדי גאווה ופעילויות נוספות שהשתתפנו בהם, אנו עומדים בפני פעילות חשובה מכל שתסגור את השנה, וגם תתחיל שנה חדשה.
המליאה הראשונה של חברותא תתקיים ביום חמישי, כ"ג באלול, 22/9/11, בבית תמי בתל אביב בשעה 20:00 בערב (פרטים במכתב המצורף). חשוב שתגיע למליאה, אבל גם חשוב שתגיע בזמן כדי שנספיק לפעילות של הלילה, סיור הסליחות של המניין הגאה בירושלים, שיוצא מגן מאיר ב22:30.

חבר יקר,
בשנה האחרונה עברנו יחד תהליכים רבים. הפכנו לעמותה עצמאית המנהלת ומתנהלת בעצמה, ובכך גם מייצגת את חבריה באופן ישיר ללא מתווכים.
בשנה האחרונה היינו עדים להתעצמותה של 'חברותא' ולהפיכתה לחלק מן השיח בחברה הדתית. הפעילויות החודשיות בירושלים ובתל- אביב, בהן פגשנו שורה של אנשים מתחומי עניין ותרבות מגוונים, הטיולים המסורתיים שלנו, השבתות, פעילות הנוער ההולכת וגוברת, סעודת השבת לאחר המצעד בירושלים (סעודה בה נכחו למעלה מ- 80 חברים!) – כל אלו מהווים רק חלק מהפעולות שלנו פנימה.
כל זאת וגם כנס הרבנים שארגנו, יחד עם 'בית הלל', בירושלים, בו נכחו הרבנים הרב ארל'ה הראל והרב בני לאו ועוד למעלה מ- 200 אנשים, יחד עם כנס 'פסח שני' בו השתתפנו לצד 'בת- קול' ו'נאמני תורה ועבודה' ושאליו הגיעו עשרות מבני ובנות הציונות הדתית; עמידתנו מול ועדת משרד הבריאות לענייני פונדקאות תוך מתן קול יהודי-תורני מתוך דאגה ליהדותם של הילדים הנולדים בדרך זו, לצד השתתפותינו בכנסי הגאווה בכנסת, עיריית ירושלים ועיריית תל-אביב; מצעדי הגאווה בתל-אביב ובירושלים בהם ניסינו להוות גשר בין הקהילה הגאה לבין העולם היהודי-דתי. וזו רק רשימה חלקית של שלל הפעולות שלנו כלפי חוץ…
כל אלו הביאו רבנים, אישי ציבור נוספים ועיתונים רבים, מכל גווני הקשת החברתית והפוליטית בארץ ובחו"ל ('הארץ', 'ידיעות', 'Ynet', 'מקור ראשון', 'הג'רוסלם פוסט', 'TIME' והרשימה עוד ארוכה) לראות בנו כמייצגים את חברינו.
רבים הם השותפים לכל אלו, כולם בהתנדבות ומתוך תחושה של שליחות למען הבית של כולנו, למען עצמנו.
אולם, 'חברותא', כפי שכבר נאמר, היא כבר מזמן לא רק מפגשי חברים פעם בחודש, אלא קהילה מגוונת שפועלת למען קידום חבריה, הן מחוץ לקהילה שלנו והן בתוך קהילתנו פנימה. הפיכתנו לעמותה רשומה לפני קצת פחות משנה משמעותה- דמוקרטיה!!! חברותא היא אתה, שלך- אנחנו, שלנו.
על-מנת שנוכל להמשיך ולהתרחב כדי שנוכל לייצג מגוון רחב של חברים, החלטנו להתכנס ולקיים את 'מליאת חברותא הראשונה' בה תוכל גם אתה להעלות נושאים החשובים לך, נושאים ופעיליות שהפריעו לך, רעיונות שהיית רוצה לקדם, והחשוב מכל- לבחור ולהבחר, כי זו הקהילה שלך, הבית של כולנו.
ביום חמישי, כ"ג באלול (22/09/2011) ניפגש כולנו בשעה 8 בבית תמי בתל אביב (בעלי מלאכה 16, סמוך לגן מרדכי ברחוב שינקין), ונקיים את המליאה והבחירות לועד הנבחר הראשון של 'חברותא- הומואים דתיים'. המליאה תהיה פתוחה לכולם, אך זכות ההצבעה תנתן לחברי העמותה בלבד.
עוד לא חבר עמותה? לא נורא! ניתן להירשם כחבר עמותה על ידי שליחת מייל לאחד מחברי הוועד או למייל ממנו הגיע מכתב זה, הכולל שם מלא, כתובת מגורים ומספר תעודת זהות.
רוצה להגיש מועמדות לחבר בועד? מצויין! אנו נשמח לפרסם רשימת מועמדים מראש, רשימה בה תוכל להרחיב קצת על עצמך, על מטרותיך ושאיפותיך כחבר ועד, ובכך לשפר את הסיכויים לבחירתך. אז למה אתה מחכה?
פרטים נוספים יגיעו ממש בקרוב. בינתיים- זה הזמן להרשם לעמותה, להגיש מועמדות כחבר ועד, לחשוב על מה ואיך היית רוצה לשפר ולהוסיף ולהפוך את 'חברותא' לבית של כולנו.

After a busy summer that included two pride parades among the other activities that we participated in, it is time for an important activity that will bring the current year to a close and bring the new year in.
Our first Havruta Assembly will take place on Thursday, the 23rd of Elul, 22/9/11, at Bet Tami in Tel Aviv at 8pm (details in the attached letter). It is important to come to the meeting, and even more important to be on time so that we can make it to the nighttime activity, the Pride Minyan’s Slichot Tour in Jerusalem that will leave Gan Meir at 10:30pm.

Dear Friend,
Over the course of the last year we have progressed through a lot together. We have become an official non‐profit group (“Amutah”) that is independent and able to manage itself, thus directly able to represent you, our membership.
This past year we have seen Havruta strengthen and grow, becoming a topic of discussion among the religious community. The monthly meetings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, in which we met a string of important and interesting individuals from various backgrounds, our holiday tiyulim, shabbatonim, our growing youth movement activities, post‐pride Shabbat dinner (that had over 80 participants!) – these are all our internal community events, but still just one component of our activities.
Other areas of activity were the rabbinical convention that we organized in Jerusalem, along with Beit Hillel, at which we heard from Rav Arleh Harel and Rav Beni Lau along with over 200 audience members, and also the Pessach Sheni symposium that we participated in along with Bat Kol and Ne’emanei Torah V’avodah that was attended by dozens of religious Zionist community members. We spoke in front of the Ministry of Health’s board investigating surrogacy legislation, voicing a Jewish‐torah based opinion out of concern for the Jewish identity of babies born that way, in addition to participating in pride conferences at the Knesset, the Jerusalem Municipality and the Tel Aviv Municipality. At this year’s pride parades in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv we were present to begin bridging between the LGBT community and the religious world. And this is just a sample of our outreach and external activities.
These activities all brought rabbis, public figures and journalists from everywhere on the religious and political spectrum in Israel and abroad (Haaretz, Yediot, Ynet, Makor Rishon, Jerusalem Post, TIME, to name a few) to see us as representatives of our members.
Many people have made this happen, all volunteers and all feeling the mission of our own well being, the well being of ourselves and our community. Havruta, though, as we have already said, is no longer just monthly meetings but rather a varied community that works to help its members, both inside the community and also outwards towards society and the world. Becoming an Amutah just under a year ago means – Democracy!! Havruta is you – ours, our own. In order to be able to continue to grow and represent all of our members, we decided to hold the First Havruta Assembly, where you too will be able to raise issues that are important to you, subjects or activities that bothered you, ideas that you would like to promote and most importantly, to vote and be elected, since this is your community, our home.
On Thursday, 23 of Elul, 22/09/2011, we will gather at 8pm at Bet Tami in Tel Aviv (16 Ba’alei Hamelacha, in Mordechai Park off of Sheinkin St) and have our first vote for a Va’ad (board). The Assembly will be open to all, but only Havruta members will be able to vote.
Not yet a member? No problem – you can register as a voting member until Wednesday, 15th of Elul (14/9/11).
Are you interested in becoming a member of the board? Wonderful! We are going to be distributing a list of candidates in advance, in which you can tell a bit about yourself, about your goals as a board member, and thus make yourself more familiar to those voting. So what are you waiting for?
More information to come soon. In the meantime, this is the time to resister as a member, to apply as a board member, and to think what you would like to change and add in order to turn Havruta into a home for us all.
